Starrfadu: Q & A

Brain Surgery? - August 24, 2008

I'll be going to the famous Mayo Clinic this week and hopefully having my huge brain tumor removed! It's like the size of a fist - yikes! But hey, I haven't been worrying or anything like that. It's all in God's hands and He has a specific plan for all this. I've been blogging about it on our MySpace.com/Starrfadu page... which you can even see a photo! :-)

What are the lyrics to "Let It Out (Olympic Version)?" - August 14, 2008

Do you think that you could give it your all, and push further than you have pushed it before? Sometimes we all just need to let it out.

Do you need to let out five more tears; releasing emotions you're holding within? Sometimes we all just need to let it out.

We each have our heartfelt moments inside when we revel in them and bring them to life. Sometimes we all just need to let it out.

The pride of this moment is inspiring us all; when you pulled from inside to answer the call. Sometimes we all just need to let it out.

What are the lyrics to "Wisdom from Vanity?" - April 1, 2008

I tried to figure out, what life was all about; what, in the end, would make a difference? So, anything I could find to entertain my mind, soon came along without resistence. The pleasures of wine and work quickly became absurb; as neither could show much in meaning. Women, they came and went. Money was gained and spent. Still, there was more I kept seeking. Oh, I chased after the winds that abound... and found vanity in everything around. Now, there is a time it seems... and place for everything; still, all that I found was quite pointless. To fear God and leave the rest, all in the hands of death - is where I'll find my rejoicing.

What are the lyrics to "Thoughts of Modern Men?" - March 15, 2008

Things have changed again through time. Men are finding new ways to unwind. Lust burns with every waking thought; of how to rape our sons and not get caught.

And these modern men are thinking of new ways to steer our youth; down a sea of lost perversion where their innocence is ruined once and for all.

The sex-trade trend is on the rise. Import exactly what you like. Young girls are told they are the best; and twelve years old will quite impress.

And these modern men are thinking of new ways to steer our youth; down a sea of lost perversion where their innocence is ruined once and for all.

And a common misconception is, "it'll never happen here!" Till you find your children missing and it's worse than you had feared.

What are the lyrics to "So, Nevermind?" - March 15, 2008

We could talk about the past / but oh how cliche it would be / We could talk about ourselves / but oh how cliche it would seem / And we could talk about our loves; gained and lost / And we could gripe about the price that things cost / but oh how cliche it would be / oh how cliche it all seems to me

You could ask me for the time / but oh how cliche it would be / And we could guess if it will rain / but oh how cliche it would seem / And we could talk about the songs that we like / And we could laugh about the shows we saw last night / but oh how cliche it would be / Oh how cliche it all seems to me

And we could talk about our politics and change / and we could talk about how nothing stays the same / but oh how cliche it would be / oh how cliche it all seems to me

What are the lyrics to "Waltz to the River's Edge" (and who is the other vocalist)? - March 12, 2008

The other vocalist is Luke Whittaker. His band's name is "A Blue Treehouse & The Homeless Beard;" which you can check out via our Links page. He also plays the second guitar as well on this track.

****
I'll waltz down to the river's edge / I'll step right to the shore / Take my head in your hands and lay me into the waters below -- My soul cried as my life was reborn / I've found hope in the light of the Son... the light of the Son.

Years we played at the waters edge / Years we drank from its shore / How has time changed this common ground to streams that bring life to reform -- Could this change I hear of you speak / Bring forth all of the hope that I seek... all that I seek.

I'll waltz with you to the river's edge / I'll step with you to the shore / And take your head in my hands and lay you into the waters below -- He cared; not for the things that you've done / Find your hope in the light of the Son... the light of the Son.

What are the lyrics to "Come What May?" - February 27, 2008

You are a leaf in autumn; falling to the ground. You are a mesh of colors, dragged on the ground. Limbs have turned you over; let you slip away. Eyes through bark are staring towards your grave.

I had tried to catch you; when the seasons changed. But you had nothing of me... so come what may. You can't claim your helpless, when you first chose to fly. Gravity's your downfall... from the sky. Pulls you from the sky.

So, come what may. (These leaves keep falling to the ground.) Come what may. (When those who love them can't be found.) Come what may. (The silent never make a sound.) Come what may. (I fear it's all over now.)

Come what may.

What are the lyrics to "All Your Words?" - February 23, 2008

Baby, I think you're crazy / when you're rant-n-raving out in the hall / well you don't make no sense at all / and what would all our friends say / if they knew you talked to me that way / cause we both know it ain't ok

And I have found where all your words bring me down / and I don't want to talk with you tonight

Baby, well I'm not crazy / it's just your problem lies, in my mind's eye, in your laziness and your selfish pride / and I don't want to talk with you tonight

And I have found where all your words bring me down / and I don't want to talk with you tonight

Maybe, we're both crazy / and it's plain to see with you and I / that we ain't getting nowhere tonight / and sometimes things are better left unsaid / so lets pick this up some other time / when we both see things eye-to-eye

And I have found where all your words bring me down / and I don't want to talk with you tonight

What are the lyrics to Let It Out? - January, 2007

Do you want to lay your head on my shoulder? I don't mind if you cry. Sometimes we all just need to let it out.

Just let your tears run down my arm; so I can keep them in a blue jar. We'll drink them later, so just let it out. Let it out.

Let's take a walk just to clear our heads. I don't mind that you're holding my hand. You say you love me; so just let it out. Let it out.

Your smile is a pleasant change from before... when you thought that you couldn't take anymore. Sometimes we all just need to let it out. Let it out. Let it out.
