Starrfadu: Biography

(Updated 12/26/09)

Starrfadu was started by Singer/Songwriter Austin Hartley. Joined primarily by Brian Moody (drums) and Dave Martin (bass), the band has played their thought-provoking, melodic Indie Rock since 2001. Their music has been featured on PBS's Roadtrip Nation, XM Satellite's XMU Radar Report, Pepsi's Concert Series, an International Kleenex ad campaign ("Kleenex: Let It Out" - 2007-2009) and an Olympic Documentary (Let It Out: The Movie). The band has been mentioned in Entertainment Weekly and USA Today's 'Pop Candy,' as well as by BBC Radio 1's Jo Whiley. When the band is not making music, you'll find Austin hosting his own radio show ("The Austin Hartley Project" - 99HitFM), Brian studying for his Master's Degree in Theology, and Dave serving his Country through the Army Reserves.
